On the Road to Walla Walla

by Bonnie Tate

A mix of images from my weekend in southeastern Washington near Walla Walla~

On the drive over we took I-90 but got off the interstate here and there…first, in Snoqualmie~

Then in Roslyn, a great little place, and where the show Northern Exposure was filmed~

And in Zilah to see this teapot shaped gas station~

Unfortunately it was closed…

We bought some pluots, which I had never heard of before, from a fruit stand – a cross between a plum and an apricot~

This unmarked hotdog (or is it a hamburger?) building with matching car was in a town called Sunnyside~

Here are a few pictures from Fort Walla Walla, a pioneer life museum~

And because we found beautiful weather on the eastern side of the state, we celebrated with a swim~
