Southwest…Midwest…South

by Bonnie Tate

In the last two days, after lingering in the southwest, we zipped through the midwest and then drove down south. Tonight we are with family in Little Rock, Arkansas. This was one of of our destinations on this road trip (the final one being Florida). Boy, are we glad to rest for a few days.

Here's how I've watched the landscape change over the last few days…

Southern utah peak

Southern Utah…

Utah oregon trail village

More southern Utah…I couldn't get enough of this area…

Northern new mexico mesa

Just into southern Colorado, on the way to Mesa Verde…

Southern utah outside mesa verde

Southern Colorado, east of Mesa Verde…

Northern mexico dark skies

A storm ahead of us in northern New Mexico…

Washita river

Site of the Battle of the Washita River where Custer fought Cheyenne indians. Near Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

Oklahoma indian mounds

Eastern Oklahoma…the landscape has flattened out…

Amarillo volkswagons

And flat it will stay, right on down to Florida:)
