On this morning’s walk I saw six parachutists (surely training at nearby Ft. Lewis) floating down from their helicopter to the water. If I had walked in their direction just a minute earlier, I’m sure I could have seen them jump out one by one. The sound of the helicopter barley reached me so they appeared to be falling in silence. A real visual treat. I didn’t have my camera with me, but the sight reminded me of these feathers I photographed last weekend at the Schesser House
