A great addition to my photo work space, a print of Slow Breathing by painter Samantha French. A birthday gift last month from my mom. Love it! Another favorite from her Bathers series below.
Dive In, Float by Samantha French
Love her work…. I’ve been hearting two large prints from this series & wanted to feature them in our dining room. I think it will be my holiday gift to self!
Hope you get them, Ania!
Thank you for sharing this post. I love her work. My favorite is Slow Breathing. What a wonderful birthday gift. I might buy a small one to hang above my desk. I tend to forget to breathe sometimes. I hold my breath when I’m stressed and don’t realize I’m doing so until I am forced to take a huge breath. I love swimming because it’s one of the only times I’m really aware of my breathing and conscious of the rhythm of my breaths. Enjoy, Bonnie!
It is a reminder for me in the same way. Also, shortly before I discovered her work over the summer, I had a wonderful time swimming in a nearby lake…I didn’t think I’d ever be able to go swimming while living here (the water is icy cold) so it was such a great surprise to find a little body of water I could enjoy. This image conjures up memories of that day, floating on my back…ahhh
